A cosy 2 bed-room house with a beautiful rocky garden and a pond with Lily plants. Interior decorated in soft colours with Mediterranean and South American ornaments. Located right in the city centre makes it easy to reach any place on foot. All people from all backgrounds will feel welcome here.
My name is Maxim. I come from Cahul, although I have been gone abroad since I was 18. After many years I got back home to organize a documentary film festival named MOLDOX. Later on I decided to renovate an old house that my parents had inherited. For 20 years this house was empty, and the grass in the yard was higher than the roof. For the festival parties we needed a space where all the filmmakers would come together, have a drink and socialize. In this way the house has become the reunion place for all the filmmakers and they called it "House of the Festival". Because I wanted to spend more time in my home town, I decided to renovate the house of the festival. After one year of hard work on construction, design and decoration the house is finally ready. The decoration of the house is influenced by my last visit in Peru, which impressed me a lot. I have brought many things from Peru and have decorated with them the interior. They all build a warm and welcoming atmosphere inside the house, which I will be glad if you could enjoy it as much as I do. Just outside the house there is a little garden which has exotic trees and plats specific to other regions around the globe.
The house is situated in the centre of Cahul. The central market is at a 10 minute walking distance. The university and the city hall are also at a 10 minute distance. The Sanatorium is more or less a 15 minute walk.
