Besides comfortable and very spacious accommodation, apartment Mimoza has a very unique feature. It is set in a picturesque garden stepping up in 3 cascaded terraces. In this garden, collected and lovingly kept, there are about 60 different plants originating from many corners of the globe. But a beautiful Mimosa is dominating the garden and gives its name to the apartment. A truly magnificent sample, one of the largest in the Herceg-Novi Riviera, is giving delightful flowers in the beginning of February.
The apartment is within walking distance from the old town. Wandering through the small stairways to the various plazas and fortresses is a many hour adventure. The Kanli Kula fortress dominating the old town doubles as an open-air theatre and is worth visiting mainly for the splendid views of the town and the bay. The Spanjola fortress located higher up the mountain dates back to 16th century. The apartment is also within few steps away from Savina Monastery, which has three beautiful Orthodox churches and (yet again) splendid views of the bay.
