This One bedroom penthouse is situated in a modern block just a short walk to the Ta Xbiex seafront close to bus stops and ferries making it ideal to quickly commute to different tourist hot spots easily. Perfectly positioned with trendy promenade cafes, restaurants, boat trips, bus stops and Sliema’s busy shopping centre within a 15 minute walk. It is just ideal for a couple or for a family with one or two children. Finished to good standards, clean and fully air-conditioned, this modern unit consists of a living/dining area opening up to a good sized terrace with outdoor furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom. WiFi Internet and Cable TV are being offered on a complimentary basis. The living area comes with a double sofa bed which sleeps an additional 2 persons. Please note that there is ongoing road construction near the property. Construction work typically begins at 7:00 AM and continues throughout the day. You may experience some noise and dust associated with these activities. While we have no control over the construction, we want to ensure you are aware of this situation before booking. Neighbourhood information

Msida is a harbour town in East Malta, just 2.5km away from Valletta with a population of around 8,000 people. Most of the town centre has been reclaimed from the sea after the Second World War. Msida became a parish in 1867; the parish church is dedicated to St. Joseph, whose festa is celebrated in July. This festa is particularly famous for the traditional game “il-Ġostra”, where participants walk along a greasy pole that is erected over water, to reach a prize attached to its end. The town got its name from Arabic, the word means "a fisherman's dwelling" since Msida was previously an old fishing village. A few fishermen still work in the village; however a considerably-sized yacht marina was established in the port, attracting a number of yachts and luxury boats.
