    The house is huge and beautiful. And the roof terrace has its own pantry, which is great. The main kitchen is beautiful and spacey. This house is large enough for a family with 4 kids. There are some really nice restaurants in the area.

A peninsula stretching out into the spectacular Grand Harbour, Senglea forms part of the Maltese ‘Three Cities’ and along with Cospicua and Vittoriosa, it provides a captivating example of authentic Maltese heritage. With aged buildings dating back to the 16th century, narrow, alluring streets, imposing bastions and spectacular views of the Grand Harbour, Senglea has much to offer its inhabitants. Set across three floors and serviced with a lift, this townhouse offers the opportunity to combine modernity with tradition. The property features a master bedroom, a double bedroom and a third bedroom with 2 bunk beds just ideal for children, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a huge open plan kitchen and a dining area. At roof level, the superb positioning of this house is in full display. With magnificent views of the historically renowned Grand Harbour and Valletta, the top-level of this property is ideal for entertaining maybe after a day of watching the infamous traditional Regatta race, strolling along the newly renovated Yacht Marina, or relaxing in the gardens at Gardjola. The astonishing terrace is complete with a relaxing pool and splendid outdoor furniture. Sitting out here is a unique experience on it’s own.

Neighbourhood information

Senglea, or Isla, is one of the Three Cities located in the Cottonera area in the east of Malta. The locality was nicknamed an L’isola (an island) during the time of the Knights but it is actually a peninsula stretching out in the Grand Harbour. With an area of just 0.2km2, it is Malta’s tiniest town, and the most densely populated, hosting around 3,500 inhabitants. This locality is one of the oldest cities in Malta dating back to the 16th century. It has a rich heritage as many buildings were constructed by the Knights of St John; enclosed by bastions that give spectacular views of the Grand Harbour. The narrow streets hold a number of beautiful aged buildings. Senglea got its name after Claude De La Sengle, the grandmaster who built it.
