Snorkeling allows you to become a part of nature and glace at the colorful fishes that flock around the islands in the lagoons. The best part about snorkeling is that it makes you feel the depths of the world lying beneath you and it is something that really astonishes people. Maldives is considered to be one of the best destinations for snorkeling in the world. It gives an opportunity to those people who could not dive or do not feel enthusiastic about trying diving, to enjoy the wonderful underwater life by simply wearing a mask and fins. The calm water around the coral islands of Maldives make snorkeling very easy. The superb visibility of the sea, due to its crystal clear water, enable you to witness the underwater life as you snorkel. The Maldives considered one of the best places for snorkeling in the world. Reef snorkeling takes place directly from the boat and is therefore suitable for stronger swimmers. If you are new to snorkeling we suggest you begin it on house reef in Dhiffushi island.

On request, you will be privately transferred to one of this spontaneous sand bank for a private and exclusive time just 10 minutes away from Ameera Guesthouse. Guests can choose whether to have a romantic dinner for two on the sandbank that is exclusively theirs for the evening, or a sand bank picnic – casual and informal and close to nature – or a sand bank lunch – the highlight of tropical delight or a romantic dinner. To experience the satisfaction of catching and cooking your own fish, a night reef fishing trip is the way to go. Your boat leaves before the sunset to find a good spot near a reef. The boat crew will show you how to use the lines, hooks and sinkers. You will catch enough to fill your barbecue grill in about an hour’s time. Experience a relaxing cruise in search of wild dolphins while enjoying once-in-a-lifetime Maldives sunset, they are never the same yet always amazing.
