The property is brand new and is centrally located in Lofoten. It is fully furnished with TV, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, stove and coffee machine. Close to the sea, mountanins, beaches and is nearby shoppingcenter in Leknes ( Vestvågøy/Lofoten ) Facts about Lofoten: Lofoten is an archipelago in Nordland. The name Lofoten probably comes from Old Swedish ló, 'lynx', and Norse fotr, 'foot'; originally used for Vestvågøy. It is a comparative name, probably used with reference to the heavily incised coastlines in Lofoten. Lofoten is known for its distinctive nature with mountains and peaks, the ocean and sheltered coves, beaches and large areas of untouched land. Between the mainland and the Lofoten wall lies the Vestfjord. Just north of Lofoten lies the Vesterålen archipelago. The Lofoten Islands are today linked by Europavei 10. Lofoten consists of more than 50 percent Paleo-Proterozoic bedrock from 1,870 – 1,790 million years before our era. The deep rocks in many places in Lofoten solidified quickly, during the 10 million years until 1,790 million years ago. In the sea off Lofoten, the bedrock on the seabed is covered by younger sediments. Lofoten was forested until the end of the 19th century, but the forest was used for materials, fuel and grazing so that there is little left of it. Lofoten is divided into the municipalities of Vågan, Buksnes, Borge, Flakstad and Værøy. Many artists settle for periods in Lofoten because of the unique nature and the special light that is there in winter. There are therefore many galleries around Lofoten. On a drive along the E-10 beyond Lofoten, you will come across many small galleries of artists from all over the world. The most famous musicians from Lofoten are Sondre Justad, Kari Bremnes, Dag Kajander and Jack Berntsen. Lofoten is also a popular destination for rock climbing and surfing - and is internationally known for this. Other tourist activities that Lofoten is known for are long-distance cycling,

A few minutes away by car you have access to the best Lofoten has to offer. Like for example. go hiking, go to the Lofoten Viking Museum, swim on the Haukland beach, watch the sunset at Uttakleiv or Eggum, surf the waves at Unstad, ski in the alpine slopes, or fish salmon in the sacrificial island stream and much much more.
