Cozy and spacious apartment at the entrance of the valley of Futrikelv. Direkt access to family-friendly hiking routes. Various possibilities for nature experiences in the surrounding area, both summer, and winter. Do you arrive at the correct time of the year you will be able to observe Northern lights right from the living room and/or whales passing by in the fjord just down below the house. So whether you like a quiet and calm holiday or a trip packed with adventurous action, this could work for you. We have close access to fantastic alpine/touring skiing and a range of mountains for all levels. Here you will find experiences for all, both big and small - only your imagination is the limit. Check our instagram #futrikelv_escape to see pictures of ours and our tourists experiences. One thing worth mentioning - the bus schedule is far from perfect and it is therefore recommended to hire a car or check thoroughly the bus routes/schedule before booking.
We live in the house ourselves and can be available most of the time in case one needs assistance or help with something. If we are not at home can one always reach us by phone.
A small neighborhood in quiet surroundings. Closeness to wild nature and beautiful ocean views. 25 minutes drive from the town of Tromsø and 20 minutes drive to the nearest grocery store. Parking is right next to the house. Hiking trails are found in the area just above the house and they will bring you up to nice views of the surrounding area. Are you here during winter can you also easily enjoy the terrain by snowshoes, backcountry skies, or/and randonee skies.
