Namaste! I'm Kabi, a second-generation trekking guide with 17 years of experience exploring Nepal’s incredible landscapes. My father was a porter before me, and tourism has been our family’s legacy for generations. I grew up in Barang, and it’s a pleasure to share our culture, traditions, and way of life with guests. To provide travelers with a deeper connection to village life, my family and I started Barang Village Community Homestay. Here, you can experience traditional Nepali hospitality, ancient agricultural practices, and breathtaking mountain views while directly supporting the local community. Walking through the forest, you may encounter red and white monkeys, leopards, Asian black bears, butterflies, and a variety of birds. Village Sports & Volleyball The village has a volleyball playground, where local boys gather every afternoon to play. Visitors are always welcome to join in and share in the friendly spirit of the community. Trekking to Panchase Hill Barang Village Community Homestay is located near the stunning Panchase Hill, a popular trekking destination in Nepal. A 6-hour trek from the homestay takes you to this incredible viewpoint, offering panoramic Himalayan vistas and a chance to experience the beauty of Nepal’s highlands without the crowds of more commercial routes.
