Built between 1910 and 1920, this place is tucked away in Bluff, right across from the beach and the ocean! It takes just a few steps to feel the sand beneath your feet. Though the house has some years behind it, it’s still full of life. It features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests. !!! Heads up so there are no surprises!!! Since this is an old house, soundproofing is not so great. If there are guests staying next door, you will probably hear them moving around downstairs. We have also been made aware that our mattresses may be a bit hard for some guests. Plenty of parking spaces on the main road, alternatively, drive up along the driveway, and there are some spaces behind the house.

You’ll find a scenic restaurant with a great atmosphere on the hillside. 1. Stirling Point A must-see landmark featuring the famous signpost showing distances to major cities around the world. It's also the start of the walking trail to Stewart Island via the ferry from nearby. 2. Bluff Hill Lookout Offers panoramic views over Foveaux Strait and the surrounding coastline. A perfect spot for sunrise or sunset. 3. Bluff Maritime Museum This museum tells the maritime story of Bluff, with exhibits on whaling, oyster fishing, and shipwrecks. You can even board a real oyster boat, the Monica, for an immersive experience. 4. Foveaux Walkway A scenic coastal trail where you might spot seabirds like albatross, penguins, and shearwaters, especially during early morning or dusk. 5. Argyle Beach A quiet spot ideal for walks, picnics, or just enjoying the sea breeze.
