This little slice of paradise, nestled in a natural amphitheatre with native bush, streams, ponds and sweeping paths through regeneration areas provides a perfect place to stay and rest or to use as a launch pad to the many beaches nearby. This newly created studio, with a mix of antique and modern art and furniture, has all the amenities you need. With a sweeping view through the orchard down to the pond, wonderful native bird songs and clear night skies for stargazing, we think you will find this a pretty special place to stay.
This place is magical - it is as simple as that! We are delighted to be able to share this property as it is such a tucked away treasure yet less than an hour to Auckland and minutes from all the great attractions of this area. We love the peace and serenity here, the beautiful scenery, the sense of space and light. We hope you do too.

Omaha beach is a big draw for people who like wide expansive white beaches with beautiful sea and surf. The stunning Regional Park of Tawharanui not only provides wonderful surfing but a beautiful Ecology Trail, stunning walks, and is home to rare and special birdlife given its pest-free status. Buckleton Beach, less than 5 minutes from the house, offers a very safe swimming beach and stunning pohutakawa trees all around the cove. Kawau Island provides a fascinating day trip. Goat Island offers a special snorkelling experience. Brick Bay provides not only great food and wine but also a stunning and thought provoking sculpture trail. The list, to be honest, goes on!!
