    Generally it is very spacious with most facilities provided. Very interesting 3 level design of the accommodation and my kids liked staying at the bottom. Actually it was one of the best stays in our whole trip.

    It was nice and close to the main centre. nice quiet part of the neighbourhood also. The house was three storeys with a parking spot outside the front door (perfect!). There were plenty of extra warm bedding which was a bonus!

In addition, we offer a range of professional services to suit your requirements, such as short-term accommodation & long-term rentals within the Queenstown area. Before starting the business, I envisioned infusing Aotearoa’s true Kiwi culture into the beautiful homes and incredible location that Queenstown has on offer, and that is exactly what we have done! We supply our guests with locally sourced and eco-friendly supplies, toiletries and added goodies; this way, they can experience that ‘Taste of New Zealand’. We also recognise the importance of incorporating the native language and culture of Te Reo Māori into our business, hence the name ‘Tāhuna’. Tāhuna is the flat land where Queenstown now stands, on the shore of Whakatipu Waimāori (Lake Wakatipu). Tāhuna is a geographical term used to describe a shallow sandbank or sandy shore. Through this, we pay our respects to the land and those who were here before us. We’ll do the mahi. You get the treats! We are here to make our guests’ holiday experience an easy one. Let us help you hideaway from your responsibilities; think of us like your holiday personal assistant.

Property information

This apartment is spread across three floors. Two of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are on the ground level floor, the third bedroom and ensuite are located on the bottom floor. The kitchen, living and balcony area are all located on the top floor. There are flights of stairs from floor to floor.Located just above the CBD (a 15-minute walk into town) There are three different ways to walk to and from the apartment to town. The quickest way is following the road down into town, which means an incline on the way home. However, you can also walk along the top of the hillside and take the stairs or walk through the QT and Rydges hotel using the elevator. ‘The Alps’ is easily accessible to the many great outdoor pursuits Queenstown has to offer, ranging from adventure activities and walkways to world-renowned golf courses and ski slopes.
