"La parada del pelicano" is a private property, just outside the town of Malena. The little ranch is located in the middle of nature, surrounded by peace and tranquility. You can wake up and make a coffee watching the horses walk next to the kitchen. The terrace has a very nice sea and mountains view. The road between Santiago and Malena is new, 60 km of perfect asphalt between hills, with very beautiful views. You do not need a 4x4 to access it, we are close to the main road, and we have a concrete entrance. I and my husband Roberto, we live next door and we are available for any information or help. We are both surfers and we will be happy to give you any information to make your stay perfect. We are between the famous beaches of Morrillo and Playa Reyna, the perfect place to choose at any time where to go surfing considering the conditions. We can organize trips to the island of Cebaco (for surfing or simply to enjoy nature), horseback riding or walking in incredible places, paragliding flights and much more. We offer a paid shuttle service between Malena and Santiago and between the accommodation and the beaches.
Hi, I'm Alice, I'm Italian and I've lived in Panama since 2023. I am completely in love with this country and its nature. I love surfing, yoga and sports in general. My cabins are located on a beautiful hill, overlooking the sea, surrounded by nature and tranquility. At night you can notice the sound of the waves from afar and in the morning you will wake up to the songs of birds. We are surrounded by horses, cows and birds of all kinds, if you love nature it is your perfect place!
We are just outside the small fishing village of Malena, with its beach where every year you can witness the wonderful spectacle of the sea turtles that go to lay their eggs (between June and February). 5 minutes away there is Torio, with its typical restaurants and waterfalls Near the accommodation, in the 3 km radius there are a couple of "fondas", typical Panamanian restaurants, just remember that they close early at night. In Malena there is a little store that sells basic products The town, Mariato, is 10 minutes away, with supermarkets, typical restaurants, the bank and the health center.
