Hippocampus Beach Resort enjoys a beachfront location on Malapascua Island, a 35-minute boat ride from world famous dive site, Monad Shoal. It provides cosy rooms with private balcony. Renovated and refurbished in 2018, rooms offer great views of the ocean or tropical garden. They have private bathroom facilities and feature either air conditioning or a fan. Hippocampus Resort organises excursions and island tours at an additional charge. Guests can also enjoy water sports like snorkelling. PADI and SSI-certified scuba diving is also available at the resort. For more relaxing options, massage services are available. The restaurant is located on the beach and offers an international menu. Refreshing cocktails are provided at Magellan's Bar. Hippocampus Resort is a 40-minute boat ride from Gato Island. Mactan Cebu International Airport is a 3.5-hour drive away.
