Company information

We are a Dutch couple and although we have known each other since 1987, we have only been a couple since 2005 and since 2006 living in Portugal at Quinta do Cano, together with our dogs, donkeys and other animals. If you love animals, you have come to the right place and of course you can also bring your own pet if it is as social as ours. Both settled in Portugal with all our animals and with little desire to travel anymore, we love hosting guests not only for overnight stays but also for breakfast and dinner to hear your stories from all over the world.

Property information

The Quinta was bought by Wim's parents in 1992. After living there for a few years, we decided to adapt the house to make it suitable for receiving guests. There are rooms and apartments available for guests, but we would like to invite you to our part of the house for breakfast and dinner. A common area is avaible where guests can make coffee or tea and get some cake and where is also a mini bar. Guests can benefit from the terraces, gardens and swimming pool.

Neighbourhood information

Although Évora itself is a beautiful city and certainly worth a visit, it is surrounded by many old fortified towns and beautiful nature reserves and not to forget a large menhir field. The Quinta is located 3.5 km from Evora, quietly situated on the agricultural side and almost directly on a national road which is easy for many day trips. The Quinta is also located directly on a walking path along the Aqueduct.
