The Tara cottage is located in the National Park "Tara", Western Serbia, 1300 meters above sea level, on the very border between National Park Tara and Nature Preserve "Mokra Gora" (serbian) or Wet Mountain (english). Our guests have access to a huge backyard, surrounded with the forest, a road to the cottage itself and a parking space. The Cottage is brand new, and its style represents a happy mix of the typical traditional architecture of this area, with some modern solutions and additions. Tara's 4-vaulted ceilings, natural materials such as stone and local wood, combined with the contemporary feel of the space, are providing desired level of comfort and warmth. The Tara Cottage is around 6 km away from a small, popular tourist town Mitrovac and approximately 500 m away from the town Sekulic. The Cottage is pretty spacious, around 100 square meters large, with two floors. Ground floor has a wonderful living room, nice dining room and kitchen and a nice bathroom with the shower cabin. Guests who decide to visit Tara mountain, can enjoy tremendous abundance of flora and fauna and marvel the untouched and unspoiled nature, with verity of different indigenous plants and trees, of which the most famous one is Panciceva Omorika (serbian), Serbian Spruce (english), Picea Omorika (latin). Those that love outdoors activities in the nature, will be able to hike along the trails, climb the mountains or ride bicycles. There are two lakes, located in the immediate proximity to the cottage: Zaovinsko Lake, with its green, blue and turquoise colors is only 10 km away, while Perucac Lake is only around 17 km away. Both of these lakes could be perfect destinations for a quick get away. Visitors from all over flock to them regularly to enjoy swimming during the summer time. Around 10 km away form the town Mitrovac, there is a nice vantage point, "Banjska Stena", from which one can see spectacular panoramic views, including the Perucac Lake and the River Drina Canyon. Nearby Mokra Gora (Wet Mountain) is a must-see destination for all the visitors and it is only around 20 km away from Tara. Besides its untouched nature, one can also enjoy many attractions at Mokra
