Company information

Djurstagården is a peaceful Hälsingland farmstead surrounded by beautiful nature, where calm and recovery are in focus. Three generations live here in harmony, along with two cats, some hens, and a proud rooster. The farm offers a place for rest and well-being, far from the stress of everyday life. This is a family business that started in 1983. Our family has lived on the farm since the 17th century.

Accommodation close to nature just 2 km from the E4 highway. Here you can relax and find a moment of peace. Perfect for those passing through or anyone seeking a place to stay in the countryside. Here you can choose to book rooms in our residential buildings, your own apartment or our cottage "Djurstagården Ängslyckan". The cottage and the apartment have fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms with showers. If you rent a room in our main house, you’ll have access to our fully equipped kitchen. Here you can enjoy breakfast with a view of the lake, cook a nice dinner, or relax with a good cup of coffee or tea. The bathroom is shared with other guests and family members.

Neighbourhood information

Northern Hälsingland offers close access to nature. Just an 8-minute walk takes you to a lovely swimming beach by Lake Jättendal, featuring a long jetty, two floating docks, a barbecue area, changing room, toilets, a gazebo, and a slide. A 5-minute walk leads you straight into the forest with beautiful walking paths. Only 5 km from our farm, you’ll reach the sea. Here you'll find a vibrant fishing village in summer with restaurants, a café, a craft shop, and the magical theater adventure Trolska Skogen. In winter, a Christmas tale is also performed in Trolska Skogen. About 40 km away lies Hassela Ski & Resort, where you can enjoy downhill skiing, swimming, and dining during the winter season.
