Northernlight cottage asub Kirunas ranna ääres, 19 km kaugusel Kiruna bussijaamast ja 22 km kaugusel LKAB külastuskeskusest. Kiiruna raudteejaam jääb 22 km kaugusele. Kohapeal on aed ja tasuta eraparkla. Mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus asub Esrange Space Centerist 36 km kaugusel. Puhkemajas on ka rätikud ja voodipesu. Privaatsust lisavad privaatne sissepääs. Puhkemaja külalised saavad Kirunas ja selle ümbruses vaba aega sisustada mitmesuguste tegevustega, näiteks matkamisega. Kiruna folkets Hus on majutusasutusest Northernlight cottage 20 km kaugusel. Lähim lennujaam on Kiiruna lennujaam, mis jääb 15 km kaugusele.
Majutuse asukoht meeldib eriti paaridele – nad on andnud sellele hindeks 9,7.
