Even if you feel completely out in the countryside, it is only 5 km from the center of Växjö, where there is a large selection of restaurants and shopping. Växjö is centrally located in Småland and is suitable in summer as a starting point for day trips to the kingdom of glass, Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby, various moose safari parks, national parks and nature reserves, the wild west park "High Chaparral", Kalmar - Öland and also Blekinge, Skåne and the West Coast.
