The renovated Hostel 24 Bloke lies at the heart of Bloke Plateau in Nova vas, close to Postojna cave and Cerknica Lake, yet far away from concrete cities and the dull routine of everyday life. A completely renovated hostel invites all nature –lovers and sports enthusiasts to pay a visit and enjoy unspoiled nature. The hostel oers 45 beds in cosy single, double, triple and quadruple rooms (additional bed available), bunk beds, family suites (3 and 5-bed rooms) and also dorm rooms. All rooms have their private bathroom with a shower and free wireless internet access. The hostel also has a large multipurpose room for seminars and meetings. We also organize special events: celebrations, anniversaries, weddings, family gatherings, picnics, team-buidings, ...

The muncipality of Bloke Plateau covers the whole of the Bloke Plateau, which lies at a height of between 720 and 800 meters above sea level. The center of the municipality is Nova vas, Bloke s nickname is the »Slovene Tibet«. Internationally it is most famous for Bloke skiing, that was first described in 1689 and it is sometimes referred to as the cradle of skiing in central Europe. Thanks to its undalting terrain and unspoilt nature. Bloke Plateau is excellent destination for cycling, hiking, horse riding, cross-country skiing and in winter also snow kiting. Bloško jezero-a man-made lake on the plateau – is popular spot that attracts visitors in both summer and winter.
