A building with 3 large rooms and 2 small rooms in a house that is typical for the neighborhood it is in: a ground floor with a high ceiling and mezzanine, and on top of that 3 stories with the rooms. Every room has its own styling with lots of wooden details, plants, lamps and fabrics. Paapu Next Door is the second 'kid' of Paapu: around the corner you will find Paapu House, a wooden house with a large living room where you also can hangout with a coffee or a breakfast, or just to hug the cat
For many years i worked in hospitality business in different hotels. In 2018 i decided to start a guesthouse of my own in the city of Chiang Mai. Being able to add my personal feelings and taste to the house and welcoming my guests in a personal way was my goal. I hope i can give you this welcome-feeling, or to put it in a clichee-way, offer you 'a home away from home'. I love to host! That's why I have my guest house. If you want your own space etc, no problem I am happy to leave you to your vacation. For those guests who like to talk with locals about eating out, shopping, sightseeing etc. I love all these things & am happy to join you with some of your exploring or simply assist you with your holiday plans.
Paapu Next Door & Paapu House are located 25 meter from/and on, the Ancient moat directly opposite the Old City, set a short distance from attractions such as Tha Pae Gate and Wat Chiang Man. Guests here can easily explore Chiang Mai on foot. Paapu Next Door looks out on a vibrant corner of the area: a few popular hostels surround the place, but no worries: the nightly rest hours in the street are respected.
