Marianna grew up in the family's restaurant business and added to her hospitality heritage a Hotel Restaurant Management degree. Leslie, a native to Perth, Western Australia, met Marianna while traveling through Windham, NY on a missions trip and they married in 1992. Leslie has since become an American Citizen and endured and passed a hundred-hour NY State course to become a volunteer firefighter with Windham Hose Company #1. Marianna and Leslie's sons followed in the entrepreneurial family tradition and opened their own business, BEAN WISE Coffee, at the ages of eleven and ten. Justice and Maximum were the youngest members of the Windham Chamber of Commerce.
