Direct WATERVIEW,the SUNSET and CITY LIGHTS in every room from the 16th floor WATERFRONT condo @ a DISCOUNTED rate. Pamper yourself in this beautiful upscale resort. 1 Queen size bed, 1 King size and 1 Queen size sofa-sleeper - sleeps 6. ***WiFi Internet and NETFLIX movie service is included; PORTOFINO, the most luxurious resort on PENSACOLA BEACH and surrounding area, is the only resort located all the way at the end of all developments next to the beginning of 11 miles of Gulf Islands National Seashore Preservation. Because of that it is not as crowded as other resorts on Florida Panhandle. *FITNESS CENTER with the new top of the line exercise equipment - personal trainer and fitness classes on site; smoothie bar; indoor heated Olympic size pool and 7 outside pools; 8 Jacuzzi; 5 Tennis clay courts (the former touring tennis pro on site) and Spa with saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzi. Two beach sites - Gulf and Sound. Waterpark on the Sound side (fees extra).
I relocated to Pensacola Beach in 1993. My husband and I traveled many places in the world but we fell in love with Pensacola Beach. We do get spoiled here by the beach's spectacular scenery - not many beaches in the world could stand a comparison to our pristine land with beautiful sugar-white dunes and emerald waters.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: --Historical Fort Pickens and Fort Barrancas offer tours or independent exploration of its beautiful historical sites from 18 century. --Explore nightlife and shopping in Pensacola's beautiful historic downtown district or Pensacola Beach boardwalk. --Attend baseball games with fireworks at night at the new Baseball Stadium located right on the water in Pensacola Downtown(20 min from the resort) --Band on the Beach presents different singers every Tuesday evening at 7pm - almost year around. --Two popular shopping outlets are about 1 hr away in opposite directions - Destin, Fl and Foley, AL. --Naval Aviation Museum with the largest IMAX theater and Blue Angels shows (May and July) conveniently located in Pensacola. --Gulf Breeze Zoo located just 25 min away on 98 Hwy --Gulfarium located about 55 min away in Fort Walton, FL. --FunCity with water park is located in Pensacola -35min. --Big Kahuna's Water Park is located 55 min away on 98 --Science museum is located in Mobile, AL (1hr away) --For SCUBA divers: Pensacola has been chosen as the final resting place for the 'USS Oriskany', the largest artificial reef in the world.
