We are excited about hosting you!! We love old houses, design, art, and outdoor activities. Because we explore ourselves we can help make Claysburg and Central PA exciting for you. Blue Knob is a great place to ski, hike or bike. We've been married 28 years and love meeting new people. My husband loves biking and can give you some great advice if interested. I love to antique and walk and can send you on your way with a list of places to stop. Come stay with us!!!

Property information

Beautifully renovated, Christian-owned 1850's Bed and Breakfast. Boasts 7 unique bedrooms rented as three separate areas with private baths. Amenities include bathrobes in each room, candies on pillows, face masks, turn-down if requested, a hall amenity closet with bathroom products, and coffee, and a social hour at 5 PM on most weekends. You will enjoy a home cooked breakfast as well. We offer fresh flowers, romance packages, and wellness packages with advanced notice to make your stay special. We also book for small events, wedding parties, and micro-weddings. We are pet friendly but must speak to owners. We accept small dogs or well-behaved large dogs with crate or the ability to stay alone in room. We do not allow dogs at breakfast. We do not accept more than one dog unless you've booked the whole inn.

Neighbourhood information

Local community park with a walking track for those who want fitness options. Great road for biking. You can even bike to dinner. - a flat ride - just like you want on vacation. If you want a challenge - my husband can provide options for challenging bike rides. Stream - The Juniata River, Frankstown Branch. We have rods for fishing in the carriage house and can direct you. Restaurants - the best local places in the area within a 30-mile radius. Golfing - three golf courses within a 20-minute drive. My husband plays and can direct you. We are about 20 minutes from Bedford, PA - take a day trip to Bedford Springs or downtown Bedford, PA. People often choose us for local weddings - as there are 3-4 local wedding venues we partner with.
