Company information

When Alli and Marin were living in Japan, a friend asked Alli what her life dream was. She answered, "I want to have a B&B," He said, "Then why don't you?" So, she bought a book titled "So You Want To Be An Innkeeper", googled B&Bs for sale in their price range, found one in Ohio, and somehow convinced Marin that it would be an exciting adventure, especially since they had never been to Ohio. They then boarded a plane in Osaka and landed in Ohio a few hours later. That was 11 years ago. When they started out people told them would burn out after 3 years, but they’re still loving (almost) every minute of it. It takes a special type of personality to stay content and calm running a B&B. They say the trick is to keep every thing easy and casual. Some call it "lazy", they prefer "laid-back". Whatever you call it, it works. And it’s contagious, you will realize it the second you step through the door. This atmosphere is why The Pines is consistently a top-rated B&B in the area and has won national awards such as "Top 10 Best Innkeepers" from a internationally acclaimed website. Together they have built The Pines into a popular destination getaway that brings guests back again and again.

Property information

Located on a 2-acre oasis in the heart of Dresden Village, The Pines is miles away from the stresses of the outside world.
