Company information

Our Innkeeper, Lydia, is a professionally trained chef who has traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe. She is available throughout your stay to make sure you are comfortable and to meet your needs. Her breakfasts are second to none and our favorite is named Eggs Glencairn, a modern twist on a traditional Eggs Benedict with prosciutto, farm fresh greens, and seasonal vegetables topped with her own lite Hollandaise.

Property information

The Inn at Glencairn is one of the oldest structures between Philadelphia and New York City. The foundation dates back to the early 1700s and has been added on to many times since then. The stone side of the Manor was taken over by Hessian soldiers during the Revolutionary War and then reclaimed after the war was over. Many of the outbuildings also date back to the early 1700s. The red frame barn on the property was relocated during the 1970s from a property in Dutch Neck, New Jersey.

Neighbourhood information

The Inn at Glencairn is located on Kings Highway, named for George Washington's march from Trenton to Princeton. Many historic houses and buildings can be seen on the scenic drive, ranging from stone colonials, Georgian manors, and Victorian lovelies! The towns of Lawrenceville and Princeton are chock full of fabulous restaurants and places to visit. There is plenty to do in the area for the day or the week!
