We offer remote lodging in a wilderness setting with modern amenities. Getting to and from Orca Island Cabins is an adventure in itself, with our water taxi leaving daily at 1 PM, guests are asked to meet us at 12:30 PM. Guests arrive back in Seward the day of their checkout at about 11 AM. While staying at Orca Island Cabins, there are plenty of unique experiences to enjoy from kayaking to fishing to hiking. Guests bring their own food, allowing for the ideal, curated trip. Orca Island Cabins is glamping at its best!
Susan and Dennis Swiderski are long time Alaskan residents that built their dream in Humpy Cove, and share it with visitors from around the world every summer.
Humpy Cove in Resurrection Bay, Seward AK is abundant with a variety of marine life. Guests can enjoy the area at their own pace, and feel secluded even though our staff is on grounds 24 hours a day.
