Beautifully furnished sound view 3 BR (1 king, 1 Queen, 1 full futon in bonus room) condo located directly on Blackwater Sound. Moon Bay is one of the most sought after properties in Key Largo, known for its beautiful sunset views, on-site marina with boat slips, fishing right off of the docks, private beach, free kayaks/paddle boards, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball courts and much more! Great newly renovated clubhouse with full kitchen, game tables and lounge area. Outdoor area includes fire pit, hammocks and tiki hut with bbq grills for entertaining. Large newly renovated pool and patio with water view. Great location within walking distance of multiple restaurants, tiki bars, world class diving/snorkeling tours and boat rentals. Miami airport less than 1 hour away. Key West 1.5 hrs. Discounts available for longer term stays.
We are a semi retired couple living the salt life in paradise! We enjoy traveling and boating is our passion. Our residence is less than a mile from our short term rental condo. That means piece of mind for you in the event you may need anything during your stay!
There is lots to explore in the complex! There is good fishing from our dock and you can clean and fillet your catch right there. Brand new pool area, pickleball/tennis and basketball courts, grilling area, sauna and more! Kayaks and paddle boards labeled with an MB sticker around the beach area are for anyone to use. The Tiki Hut on our dock is perfect for catching our beautiful sunsets. If you are into boating, we have great local charters we can recommend for fishing or just a lazy day at the sandbar. Slips are available (extra fee, based on availability) for boats up to 27' if you want to bring your own. We are less than two miles away from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park in the United States. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, cover approximately 178 nautical square miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps. The park extends 3 miles into the Atlantic Ocean and is approximately 25 miles in length. These areas were established to protect and preserve a portion of the only living coral reef in the continental United States. So wether you are a foodie or water enthusiast we have something for everyone!
