Company information

We are Kyle, Robin, Kevin, and Amy. We are excited to meet returning guests and new guests alike, and are dedicated to providing clean and comfortable overnight accommodations with hearty, healthy breakfasts. Kyle and Robin were raised... everywhere! Kyle with Air Force parents, and Robin with Navy parents. They met in 2012 through Robin's brother and have recently gotten engaged! Kyle has two professional backgrounds - one in web development and the other in last-mile delivery. Robin has a background in architectural design and is an ongoing artist. They are entrepreneurs at heart and were looking for an enterprise to run together. They are excited to build on Pheasant Field's foundations, caring for and improving the property for best use by family, guests and community members. They both enjoy meeting new people and hope to create a welcoming environment for travelers of all ages. Kevin and Amy (Robin's parents) were both raised in the Midwest, met in the NROTC program at Iowa State University and married in 1988. Amy served for four years in the US Navy and Kevin continued to serve 30 years before retiring in 2019. Moving to new places every 2-4 years throughout Kevin's career, they consider themselves professional newcomers and enjoy meeting people and conversing around an evening campfire or over glasses of wine or lemonade on the patio. Kevin has a servant's heart, always ensuring everyone around him has everything they need: food, beverages, restaurant recommendations, etc. Amy enjoys baking breads and pastries and cooking creative, healthy breakfasts – her favorite meal! Just prior to becoming innkeepers, they spent an entire year traveling the country in an RV, exploring National Parks and riding their tandem bicycle in many interesting places and with friends all over the country.
