Leon and Nellie Filip have owned and run the Spruce Moose Lodge and Cottages for nearly 18 years. They have 2 very loving dogs, Jed(Labassador 11yrs) and Avery (American Field Yellow Lab 8 yrs.) Their beloved Whitman, the first Yellow lab to rule the Lodge, passed away almost 4 yrs ago. He was13 years. Our Lilly ( Jack Russel) passed on March 2021 15 years! They are truly missed. Leon is a Graduate of Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire and Nellie is a Graduate from Smith College (One year at Wesleyan University) and with a Master's Degree from U Mass Amherst. The two have been married for 30 years. In the past, Leon and Nellie owned and ran The Hot Rize Bagel Cafe in Merrimack New Hampshire,before this, Nellie was a High School Biology Teacher for 17 years at Brookline High School and Leon was a Lithographer.

We are located in the Village of North Conway. Only a five minute walk to town. Cranmore Mountain is directly in back of us. It is a wonderful resort for family fun! We have a Bed and Breakfast with 8 rooms all with Private baths,
