The Highlander is located right on the edge of Choteau, Mt, a small friendly ranch town with a population of only 2,000. Choteau has all your regular small-town amenities including grocery stores, hardware stores, thrift stores, delis, and coffee shops. The Highlander is located right outside an Elk reserve and occasionally you will see or hear herds of them from the deck. With a short drive you can go to observe them. The opportunities for exploring are endless especially if you don't mind the gravel roads! Choteau is conveniently located 50 minutes from Great Falls, Easy access to the Rocky Mountains (with endless opportunities for exploration, hiking and camping) and an hour and a half from Glacier National Park. It is a connecting point for highway 287 and 89. The Highlander is easily accessible from highway 89. It has a gravel driveway that will be well maintained and in normal weather is accessible for a car but with bad weather may need 4wd.
