Company information

Steph runs the show at The White Gables Inn, cooking, cleaning, and helping guests. Mike and Gwen will be here to help you get checked-in and provide serving help during breakfast. We live on site with our dog Rocket. As a family we love to travel and run the Inn as we would like to experience when we are away from home. You can also find us enjoying the outdoors of Western Maine and the White Mountains in all seasons.

Property information

The White Gables Inn is a charming, large, classic, New England homestead set on 15 acres of land in the center of Fryeburg, Maine. The homestead was built in 1820 by Dr. Reuel Barrows, one of the founding members of the Fryeburg Temperance Union, and succeeding generations of families built additions to accommodate their growing needs. Faithfully restored, The White Gables Inn offers you a peaceful haven where you are surrounded by nature on Main Street. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a spacious deck and lawn assure your comfort and give you a place to unwind while you are adventuring in Maine and the Mount Washington Valley throughout the year.

The White Gables Inn is centrally located in the heart of the town and with easy walking distance from some great restaurants and small shops. The White Mountains, Western Maine, and North Conway provide many activities throughout the year including, hiking, skiing, and shopping. The White Gables Inn is located a block from Fryeburg Academy, a private boarding high school, and 1 mile from the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.
