Fully Vaccinated Travelers:
Procedures for fully vaccinated persons upon arrival in the Territory - (1) A person who is fully vaccinated and presents a RT-PCR or approved rapid antigen SARS CoV-2 negative test result taken no later than forty-eight hours before arrival in the Territory and satisfactory evidence of being fully vaccinated shall (a) not be required to be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival into the Territory; and (b) be allowed to move freely within the Territory, subject to adhering to the relevant COVID-19 enactments and protocols in the Territory, including the relevant physical distancing protocols, wearing of masks and sanitization measures. (2) A person who is fully vaccinated and (a) is unable to present the results to enter the Territory within the forty-eight hours' time period, for reasons such as delays and overnight layovers; or (b) is otherwise unable to provide satisfactory evidence of a RT-PCR Test or approved rapid antigen SARS CoV-2 negative test result upon arrival in the Territory, shall be required to undertake a rapid antigen SARS CoV-2 test on the day of arrival in the Territory.
Partially Vaccinated Travelers:
Procedures for partially vaccinated persons upon arrival in the Territory - A person who is partially vaccinated and presents a RT-PCR negative test result taken within five days of arrival in the Territory and provides satisfactory evidence of being partially vaccinated (a) shall be administered a rapid antigen SARS CoV-2 test on arrival into the Territory; and (b) if tested negative shall be allowed to move freely within the Territory, subject to adhering to the relevant COVID[1]19 enactments and protocols in the Territory, including the relevant physical distancing protocols, wearing of masks and sanitization measures.
Unvaccinated Travelers:
Procedures for unvaccinated persons upon arrival in the Territory - A person who is unvaccinated and presents a RT-PCR negative test result taken within five days of arrival in the Territory (a) shall be administered a rapid antigen SARS CoV-2 test on arrival into the Territory; and (b) if tested negative shall be allowed to move freely within the Territory, subject to adhering to the relevant COVID-19 enactments and protocols in the Territory, including the relevant physical distancing protocols, wearing of masks and sanitization measures.
Mask Mandate:
A person who is over five years old is not required to wear a face mask in outdoor public spaces; (b) a person shall wear a face mask, when in indoor public places and where he or she is within three feet of another person.
Please note that insurance is still required for visitors, to cover medical expenses in the event of treatment or hospitalization for COVID-19 and to cover accommodations and related expenses if they have to extend their stay due to quarantine for COVID-19.
Test to leave the BVI:
- If chosen to take the test on property the cost for a COVID-19 RT-PCR test is USD 200.00 per person, and a Rapid Antigen test is USD150.00 per person.
- Alternatively, if the decision is made to have the test administered at the Peebles Hospital, the cost is USD 80.00 – 125.00 per test for the standard COVID-19 Rapid-PCR test respectively.
