The location is fantastic, on a very peaceful estate but at the same time very central to explore the highlights of the panorama route. Too bad we only stayed for two nights!

The property is situated 8km outside the town of Graskop, Mpumalanga, along the iconic Panorama Route. We are just 1km from the breathtaking Lisbon Falls. Our log cabins overlook the Lisbon River, which flows gently through the property. We offer three log cabins and one historic old miner's cottage, built in 1873. This peaceful island-like property is surrounded by untouched nature, making it the perfect getaway. We live completely off the grid, using only solar and gas for energy. 🐑 Our friendly sheep and dogs roam the property, adding to the charm of this natural escape — a lovely experience for animal lovers, families, and those seeking a true countryside retreat.
My Name is Charl and I am staying on this property already from 1975.I grew up here so I am very familiar with the whole surrounded area, and the History on the Panorama route and Kruger National Park. As your Host at Lisbon Eco Lodge I will help you to get the most out of your Holiday by assisting you with day trips, directions and special places to see. I look forward to host you with my Eco lawnmowers (my sheep) and my herding dogs at my side. They have been all perfectly socialized and are an awesome experience for visitors.
Graskop is a town 8km's from the lodge. Graskop is on the escarpment making our area the centre of the Panorama route. Graskop has lovely restaurants and an awesome grocery store for those that love to barbeque or cook, you will also find curio store's and the Big Swing. Here are the recommended day trips: Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavel's, Bourke's Luck Pothole's, Glass Lift (in Graskop), Berlin Falls, Lisbon Falls (walking distance from the Lodge) Pilgrim's Rest, Kruger National Park, Lone Creek Waterfall's to only mention a few.
