As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Very excellent service. The most delicious breakfasts you can imagine. A magical beach is nearby. The island is one of the best places for hiking for any level.

Located on Ilha Grande, Abraãozinho Beach, Bonito Paraiso has two houses with a total o 7 rooms. This place really is paradise. The moment you arrive you are off-line! Wow! People are so friendly, the food great, the bar on the beach, the private spots all very good!

The whole team was so friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. Our stay could not have been better, they gave us tips on tours and places to visit. The place itself is spectacular with a beautiful peer and beautiful nature (with lots of fishes and seaturtles nearby). The room was comfy and the food (we ate breakfast and dinner there) was very good. Thanks for the nice holiday. :)

From the staff (Bea and Gabby being extraordinary), to the location and the breakfast and tea time it was all perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.

Pousada Albatroz is located in a quiet mountain area in Abraão - Ilha Grande. The property is decorated in a rustic tropical style. Pousada Albatroz offers different room categories. Gorgeous, green, and welcoming! It’s a micro-village of love in the middle of paradise. I felt genuine kindness and warmth from everyone working here. There are palm trees and hammocks everywhere. Breakfast was delicious, served in the beautiful common space that’s covered but still open. And they have a water filter, so even the tap water is drinkable. Albatroz is the only place I’ve seen this so far in Brazil.
