I recently had the pleasure of staying at Al Molo 5, a charming boutique hotel nestled along the stunning shores of Lake Como, for two unforgettable days. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the peaceful, sophisticated ambiance that this hotel effortlessly exudes. Location: Al Molo 5’s location is absolutely ideal. Situated directly on the lake, the views from the hotel are nothing short of breathtaking. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast on the terrace or simply relaxing by the water, the serene surroundings make for a perfect retreat. It’s also conveniently located near the charming towns of the region, making it easy to explore the area. Room: The room I stayed in was a perfect blend of contemporary design and cozy comfort. The space was impeccably clean, with stylish furniture, high-end linens, and a modern bathroom. The large windows offered spectacular views of the lake, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, from the thoughtfully selected decor to the plush bed that ensured a restful sleep. Service: The service at Al Molo 5 was exceptional. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always eager to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. They were quick to offer recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and even arranged a private boat tour of the lake, which was a highlight of my trip. Dining: The continental breakfast provided each morning was a delightful start to the day. Fresh pastries, local cheeses, and fruit were all served with care, and the atmosphere on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake made the experience even more enjoyable. Ambiance: The overall ambiance of the hotel is one of calm and sophistication. The intimate size of the hotel ensures a quiet, relaxing stay, and the decor reflects the beauty of the region with a modern touch. It feels like a home away from home, with every corner thoughtfully designed to enhance the feeling of relaxation.

La Locanda del Cantiere se nachází ve městě Laglio, jen pár kroků od břehu jezera Como. Nabízí restauraci a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Really great place, right in front of como lake, close to really nice restaurantes as well. The hotel restaurant is great as well. All staff were amazing. The parking is a great advantage as well.

Locanda Osteria Marascia se nachází v klidné oblasti v Calolziocorte, 5 minut jízdy od jezera Garlate. Very friendly, family-run, pleasant atmosphere. Very aesthetic stone and brick building with great garden (pleasant until sunset, see below). Dinner was great. As my wife and I had different meals (she started with fish and moved to meat; me the other way around) the head waiter / owner didn't force bottles on us but recommended glasses, matching each to what we were having. My carpaccio with black truffles was especially good. Just two ingredients. Simple yet delicious. Probably the best I've ever had. Reservations, however, are a must!

This place is like a heaven on earth. We stayed 5 nights in a room named Renzo and Lucia which was decorated very nicely. The 4 poster bed was really comfortable. The room was quite big. There were 2 large armchairs where we sat and watch the amazing view from the room's large windows. The bathroom was really spacious and had the same amazing lake view with the room. The hosts were so nice, we had breakfast only one time but the cook took care of us personally. The gardens were so beautiful, surrounded by trees, singing birds, amazing lake views and unforgetable moments. We had a really pleasant stay at Antica Locanda La Tinara del Belvedere. I strongly recommend this place especially for a romantic getaway ;)

Great view into the valley and the lake directly from the terrace and our room. Fun host Roberto and good breakfast in the morning. It's a great option for a night, when passing through, but you have to be a confident driver to make it up the narrow winding road.

The view from the terrace and the room was breathtaking. Staff is very kind. Location is perfect to discover more villages around the lake.
