From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The owner was absolutely amazing—friendly, outgoing, and incredibly thoughtful. He personally picked us up from the bus stop without us even asking, and gave us the best room available. Our room had two balconies, with the main one facing the road and offering a direct view of the stunning Gjirokastër Castle. The architecture of the hotel was top-notch—elegant design with beautiful rooms and 5-star facilities. On arrival, we were treated to complimentary drinks, including a special local Gjirokastër drink, which was such a nice touch. What really stood out was the owner’s genuine care—he even came late at night just to bring us water when he thought we might not have any. That level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. Truly a perfect stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër!

They were courteous, helpful and super friendly.Our room was fabulously clean and very functional. It is also situated in a great location with a number of traditional restaurants close by. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend anyone considering a stay in Gjirokaster.

Beautiful small boutique hotel, tucked away on a very quiet side street, with stunning views and just a short walk to many restaurants and the Old Bazaar. Hotel has lots of character and charm. Staff at the hotel (Julie) was exceptionally welcoming and hospitable.

Good communication, friendly host who helped us to reach the property by explaining which bus to take from bus station. Perfect location,amazing view. The room was super clean. The best place we have stayed so far in Albania. Highly recommend.

The owners ( Landa and Thomas)were so sweet and very welcoming. The house was very clean, comfortable, and very warming. We felt like we were in our home. The location was very convenient, but little bit hard to find it. Jona was very helpful to explain how to get there. I would recommend everyone one to select this house and I’ll definitely choose it again. Once again Thank you Landa, Thoma dhe Jona for help us to have a wonderful time at Gjirokaster! A very quiet, spacious, clean apartment with good facilities in a fantastic location with an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very close to Gjirokastër and a short drive to the supermarket, lots of hiking and sights in the local area. Not forgetting the friendly cat of course. Next time we will come for longer, thanks Shpati for a great experience!

Bujtina Vjosa se nachází v destinaci Memaliaj a poskytuje kola zdarma, zahradu, soukromou pláž a sdílený lounge. Paní byla velice milá a ubytování mělo neuvěřitelnou atmosféru. Během pobytu nám sice pršelo, ale to jen podtrhlo kouzelnou atmosféru a my si užívali vířivku a výhled na řeku.

Hotel Selfo se nachází v destinaci Gjirokastër a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Jezero Zaravina je 38 km daleko. Everything was very good, breakfast, parking for the car, clean rooms with a balcony.

When are you asking how to get to a place and owner coming to pick you up, this is a place i will surley recomand. A few minutes drive from nice city , above the river, in a big, comfirtable room, very clean. Surrounded with nice place to sit and relax, big garden. Very good envoroment, and above all perfect staff. Very helpfull, very professional, taking care of all your needs. Food is fresh and fantastic.breakfast and dinner. Also got a discount for taking a rafting trip.was perfect!
