Our unit was clean, had everything we needed, and the living space and bedrooms were comfy. All the air conditioning units worked well. We felt that our stay was a great value.

Offering an extensive garden, a large sun terrace with a swimming pool, a wooden lounge and restaurant area and lush-style suites, Belizean Shores Resort is set in front of the Caribbean Beach. We loved the place. We only intended on staying two notes but cancelled our other place on the island and stayed 2 more nights. Great location North of San Pedro center (15-20 min golf cart ride). The staff were helpful, friendly, had great recommendations. Having a tour company on the dock was always a huge bonus. The pool and poolside bar was also a nice friendly place. Wifi was strong and the place was completely relaxing.

This property is located on the coast of Ambergis Caye and offers guests 2 outdoor swimming pools, on-site restaurants and sports facilities. The location, the resort, the staff, the pools and our room were all excellent.

Absolutely loved our cosy cabin at Matachica. Fairy tale arrival by speed boat with drinks awaiting us was an amazing start to the holiday. The resort is quiet, stylish and very tastefully decorated. It never felt busy even though i think it was over half full. The food was amazing! The chef knows what they're doing - fantastic bread and breakfast pastries but every meal was delicious. However, what made our trip were the staff - everyone was so kind and willing to help in any possible way. We had problems with our air conditioning unit and after an initial fix failed they replaced the whole unit whilst giving we the option to change rooms if we wanted (we didn't - we were too settled) Lovely people but i also found that generally true of Belize. Thank you so much. Do try the trips - we borrowed a kayak to go to the reef across from the hotel and snorkel with sting rays but also did organised Hol Chan trip including swimming with nurse sharks which was fabulous.

I was surprised by the quality of the accommodation and the look and feel of Caye Caulker, and will be recommending both as destinations for travellers to Belize.

The food was fresh, staff is extremely friendly. Rooftop pool was awesome. It's only a 5 minute golf cart to downtown. Room was very spacious and bathroom was huge, beautiful patio too. Would absolutely stay again.
