Drifting up to the property via boat and taking the funicular up to the hotel is a must - so unique and felt like I had entered the video game Riven/Myst! Such a special experience that my kids and I will never forget. The lake set up is beautiful and so quiet/private, and the pool option is also lovely with great views of the lake. Everything was beautiful, the attention to detail was so appreciated, and their tours are fantastic!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. Es una preciosidad de hotel. We are so glad we decided to book this hotel because we didnt know Flores and thought that maybe not staying in Flores wasn't a good idea... but couldnt be more happy. Flores is caotic so having this oasis just a boat away for us was the best choice. We rested in a double room with two gigantic beds... swam in the pool, relaxed in the hotel and then they offer boat transfer to Flores at no cost. LUXURY TOTAL. But the best of the hotel is the staff. They are ALL VERY VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. There is also clothing cleaning at not cost.

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park. I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. Thank you to Martin, Don Hector, Kevin, and all staff for their assistance throughout our stay in the hotel.
