Situated in Budapest, a 5-minute walk from the Great Market Hall, Hotel Memories OldTown offers a wellness area with a fitness centre. we loved the fact, that hotel memories is really central in Pest with many busses, metro and trams within 2 minutes walking distance. we were welcomed very sweet with chocolate and had a nice stay. the standard double room was really cozy, with fridge, water heater and coffee machine. unfortunately we didn‘t drink the wine (for free), but the water everyday. the breakfast is the highlight, there is everything you can imagine for omnivores, including strudel and brownies.. me, as a vegan, and also wheat allergic, i had extra glutenfree bread and vegan cheese and sausage, the chef even made me baked beans on the first morning. happy me!! wellness is a bit small, and finnish sauna is a bit too hot for us, therefore we didn‘t use it, infrarot cabin would be perfect.

Mystery Hotel Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a historically themed luxury hotel located in the 6th district in downtown Budapest, in an eclectic palace built in the 19th century. We stayed here as a couple and had an amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and helpful too. They booked restaurant tables for us and were always happy to help. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room we stayed in was really nice. It was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and the overall ionic style was lovely. We were celebrating a birthday and got some extra champagne and a cake delivered to the room for arrival which was really nice (paid extra). The breakfast was great as other reviews mention, and the spa was quite nice. We found the spa to be busy at around 5 pm. The location is great and it is close to many shops and touristy locations we pretty much walked everywhere. It was about 45 mins to the river to walk but taxis were available in a couple of minutes. Overall we loved it and if we were coming back to Budapest we would re-book in an instant!
