The cave bedroom was an exceptional experience. We were lucky as it was the Festa della Bruna in Matera, it was also a wonderful experience to see this spectacular festival. We even saw the firework display from our room.

Antica Mateola asub Materas, 2,1 km kaugusel Matera katedraalist, 2,1 km kaugusel MUSMA muuseumist ja 2,4 km kaugusel Casa Grotta nei Sassist. Great location and lots of parking areas near it. Impressive service and lots of good information were provided to us to make our trip really enjoyable.

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Very good breakfast and very good location. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Nothing that we didn't like.

Francesco was so warm and welcoming, greeting us with coffee and croissants and sharing a map to walk us through Matera’s rich history and must-see spots. The cave itself was a beautiful loft-style flat, cozy yet spacious. Such a special experience—we’re so glad we stayed here!

Aiaga La dimora di Don Antonio asub Materas, 700 meetri kaugusel Matera katedraalist, MUSMA muuseumist ja Tramontano lossist. I loved how cozy the room are and the location are close by.

Offering city views and a garden, Giardini di Luce features accommodation situated conveniently in Matera, within a short distance of Matera Cathedral, MUSMA Museum and Tramontano Castle. The room was very tranquil & stylish. Well designed and thought-out (USB ports next to the beds etc). Excellent view from our terrace to the hillside opposite, it was magic at night time. We left our car at Welcome Matera parking for 2 nights (pre - book online). It was a short walk from there. Everything was perfect.

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. You are in the Sassi and centrally located. The owner, Giuseppe, and his wife, were the best! From the moment we registered online, he sent notes on Whatsapp to me telling us where to park, how to take the bus, directions to walk with pictures and instructions. All was very helpful. He got us dinner reservations at Pico and it was marvelous. I left my hat at Pico, and he arranged to get it with the owner of Pico…a great effort!!! Thank you Giuseppe for a great stay!
