Exceptionally clean with everything that you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated. A large patio with an incredible view over the Apuan Alps and Apennines. We received a very warm welcome from Alessandras parents who showed us around the property. A beautiful homemade cake was waiting for us in the lodge. The pool was wonderful with the same exceptional views. There is so much to do in this area. The fascinating medieval town of Pontremoli was within half an hours drive and the port of La Spezia and the towns of Massa and Carrara with their sandy beaches and famous marble quarries were also easily reached by car, as was the Cinque Terre. There were many restaurants nearby, including a lovely local authentic restaurant, just a minutes walk from the property. The best thing, though, about our short time at the lodge was the wonderful Alessandra and her lovely family who went out of their way to look after us and make us feel totally at home and part of their family. A truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

The apartment owned by Emiliano and maintained by his sister Francesca exceeded all expectations. Beautiful, perfectly clean, comfortable beds and sofa, functioning bathroom and kitchen. + the little extras, showing that the host really cares about his guests. We also received lots of good advice and Emiliano was quick at replying to messages. We will be back and we can definitely recommend this apartment. Also location is perfect to reach places in Liguria and Tuscany. Big supermarket, train station and bakery in the village. Grazie, Emilano!

Our stay at Vivi Luxury Country House was wonderful; exceeding our expectations! Our hosts, Senait and Felice, were so kind and accommodating; nothing was too much! Their daughter, Vivi, is very sweet, and our son enjoyed playing and spending time with her. The hospitality here was the best we have experienced. The food and drink served on arrival was delicious, and so many lovely treats left in the property too, as well as a generous breakfast each morning, that kept us going til dinner time! The beds were comfy, there is a good shower, and we loved the pellet fed fire for warmth, as well as the coffee machine! As for the views, just wow! Although quite remote, it was still close enough for day trips to various places. We were very lucky with the weather, and our son even managed to swim in the sea, in Lerici, in April! But even in the rain, this place is beautiful. During our stay, our hosts went out of their way to make sure that our son had a lovely birthday, even joining us for the afternoon to celebrate. From organising a trip to an agritourismo, a beautiful meal out, a birthday cake and gift, as well as their company, we were truly blown away by their generosity! Definitely a birthday to remember :) We rarely return to the same place twice, but we definitely hope to return here! Thank you once more Senait, Felice and Vivi

From the moment we arrived, Francesca welcomed us with open arms – she’s incredibly kind and warm, and truly makes you feel like part of the family. Her boyfriend Alessandro is just as friendly and thoughtful. They both go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The guesthouse itself is spotless, the room was very clean with a super comfortable bed, and the jacuzzi with sea view was the cherry on top – and yes, it’s all included in the stay! The area is absolutely lovely. We had fantastic experiences with olive oil and wine tastings at Frantoio Moro and Terenzuola, where we were once again treated like family. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. We also enjoyed some amazing food! One day we ate at Trattoria Quinta Terra, a charming spot near the castle of Fosdinovo with a stunning view. Another night we dined at Terra della Luna – a truly special, family-run place with delicious food and an authentic atmosphere. Huge thanks to Francesca for recommending these places and even making the reservations for us.
