Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed — the check-in process was very fast, and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff kindly arranged a shuttle bus reservation for us. The shuttle operates several times a day between Kawaguchiko Station and the hotel, making access very convenient. This small but thoughtful gesture immediately set the tone for a highly attentive and hospitable service throughout our stay. The hotel lobby features a charming little shop, a 24-hour coffee machine, and during specific times, complimentary desserts and wine are served — a delightful touch that made us feel pampered. Our room was exceptional: traditional yet luxurious, with an electric fireplace adding a cozy atmosphere. The private open-air bath on the balcony, overlooking Mount Fuji, was an extraordinary experience. The hotel thoughtfully provides comfortable pajamas, which guests are encouraged to wear not only in their rooms but also while visiting the restaurant and spa areas — a unique and relaxing custom that adds to the homely and welcoming ambiance of the hotel. Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. A unique hotel where every detail is cherished. Although we didn’t get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, the overall experience and service were outstanding. The traditional Japanese-style dinner deserves special praise, as does the impeccable service.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. I have been wanting to go to Ito for a very long time and when we started looking for places to stay I saw this gorgeous Ryokan. My family and I stayed there for 3 nights and we were blown away by how amazing it was! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and the room itself was gorgeous and cozy. However my favorite part would have to be the onsen water itself after adventuring around a lot of central Japan the past couple weeks a soak was what we needed and K's house did not disappoint.

A beautiful property in a stunning location, perfect for exploring Magome and the Nakasendo trail. The space is beautiful decorated, Ken and Yuki have done an amazing job! The room was beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding area and the beds were very comfortable. Ken and Yuki were lovely hosts who made us feel right at home, especially with the delicious dinner and breakfast, which we definitely recommend!

Je to krásné místo v blízkosti jezer, od kterých je krásný výhled na horu Fuji. Pokoj obrovský, moderní a čistý s vlastním onsenem. Velmi pohodlné místo. Večeře ala carte dokonalá, určitě stojí za to vč. degustace místního vína. Jen je škoda, že je potřeba rezervovat několik dnů předem. Pokud se ten den rozhodnete pro večeři, není to možné.

Beautiful place, really sweet owners, great facilities including two couples' onsens! A really great breakfast. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommended.
