Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Every moment in the hostel felt unique exploring the authentic and historic ryokan building with extensive areas of tatami flooring, shoji walls and doors and of course the onsen.

Located in Nakatsugawa, さかのみち-sakanomichi features a shared lounge, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Absolutely one of the best places we stayed in japan. Great food with vegan options.

Ito Villa-TOKI asub Itos, 30 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. Daruma mägi on 44 km ja Shuzenji Niji 32 km kaugusel. Great location for a short getaway. The facilities are great; they have everything you need. Highly recommended.

33 km from Koibito Misaki Cape in Shimoda, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and open-air bath. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

Fuji Speedway Hotel, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt asub Oyamas, 27 km kaugusel Fuji-Q Highlandist. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja terrass. Mt. Fuji is close and balcony was facing it. Italian restaurant is perfect.

Aia, tasuta WiFi-ühenduse ja ühise puhkeruumiga hotell MACHIYA asub Takayamas ideaalses paigas. Selles neljatärnihotellis on ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja concierge. We absolutely loved this hotel. It's relatively small, so you get a lovely personal experience with kind staff and little treats like afternoon snacks and unlimited tea and coffee. The lounge-dining area is great to relax in after a day of sightseeing, with a view onto the little internal garden. Our room was fantastic; I chose a quadruple room to have more space. This was like a little apartment with its own lounge area, two double beds (plus two bunks above), bathroom with cedar tub, separate toilet and a nice view onto the garden. Perfect room for friends or family sharing. Modern interior design in charcoal greys, everything very clean and tidy. They will arrange breakfast for you from a local cafe, or you could bring your own to the dining area - there's a toaster, plates and bowls available. I didn't try their lovely sento bath, but we did use their handy coin laundry. The location is great, just 10mins from the station, then a bit less than that to the busy historic area. Lots of great restaurants nearby, as well as the 7-11 a few mins away. I would definitely return or recommend to friends!

Situated just 9.4 km from Wara History Museum, 花緑里-Hanamidori-乙原のやど 岐阜下呂温泉郡上飛騨金山湖畔リゾート provides accommodation in Gujo with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. We had a very nice time, beautiful surroundings and the owner was great to us! Very recommended

Private House HidaTakayama asub Takayama kesklinnas, 600 meetri kaugusel Takayama jaamast ja 2,7 km kaugusel Hida Minzoku Mura rahvakülast. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. We used Takayama as a base to explore the Japan Alps. The house was very comfortable, with all amenities and the parking space was very useful. Communication with the owner was always good. We would stay again!

Viietärnihotell Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu asub Izunokunis, Shuzen-ji templist 9,1 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed. See terrassiga Jaapani võõrastemaja asub ideaalses paigas Izu Nagaoka Onseni... I enjoyed the variety of Onsen. The food was delicious. Staff were so nice too.
