A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

You can start your trek right from the doorstep—so convenient! 2️⃣ Delicious Meals: The host prepares incredible meals! The lunch box (bento) was especially great for taking on the hike—tasty, filling, and packed with energy. Breakfast and dinner were also fantastic! 3️⃣ Thoughtful Hospitality: Since it was the rainy season, my shoes got completely soaked. The host kindly dried them for me using a dryer—such a considerate gesture that made a huge difference! 4️⃣ Great Sake & Umeshu: During dinner, the host shared some amazing sake and umeshu (plum wine). Both were delicious, especially the umeshu—sweet and smooth, a perfect way to unwind after a long hike. 5️⃣ Easy Communication: The host speaks both English and Chinese and even uses WeChat, which made communication effortless. As a Chinese speaker, I really appreciated this! 6️⃣ Perfect Stay Overall: Everything—from the cozy room to the food, drinks, and hospitality—was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would 100% recommend it to anyone hiking the Kumano Kodo. The host was really cool and we could tell he is a very welcoming and warm-hearted soul. We appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the place. We really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub that felt brand new. It is also a convenient 10-minute walk to the beach! The host took some memorable pictures of us, which we also really appreciate. This is a special place ran by a genuine, down-to-earth host. Thank you G-Sun for creating a lovely Wakayama experience!

Situato a Fuki, a 40 km da Subaru Hall, Guesthouse Fuki Juku prevede biciclette gratuite, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un giardino. Sono stati gentilissimi, sono stata veramente bene. Sono arrivata purtroppo tardi dovuto ad un problema con il treno, ma sono stati cordialissimi, addirittura mi hanno fatto vedere gli alberi di cachi e la vista nel tragitto in macchina. La cena era ottima, ho conosciuto gli altri ospiti che erano molto simpatici, il cibo era ottimo, anche la colazione. Mi hanno inoltre spiegato varie cose da visitare a Koyosan and riaccompagnata l'indomani. Ci ritornerei domani! Persone speciali in un luogo magico!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating! The decor and lighting was really cool, and it was very helpful to have so much space and laundry machines inside the room. The onigiri and vegan ice cream cone were also really good!
