We loved the nature around. Many birds singing in the morning and everting. You could even see a monkey swinging on the nearby tree :) We were welcomed with a cold juice. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. The dinner was one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Delicious homemade rice & curry. The same thing for breakfast, really tasty. In our room we had a kettle, tea, coffee and a bottle of water. We were just passing through Udawalawa, but would definitely spend more time in Wild River Side if we could :) Thank you!

Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma.... An incredible stay! The owners are so kind, the rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious. Safari was breathtaking and breakfast afterwards was perfect. Highly recommend!

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

Jml villa foresta se nachází v destinaci Kalawana a může se pochlubit balkonem s výhledem na hory a na bazén. Těšit se můžete také na celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, fitness centrum a vířivku. Great location with an amazing view. The pool was beautiful. The access road isn’t the easiest, but it’s worth it. I learned that the owner prefers not to improve the road to protect the environment, and I completely agree. They arranged a 4WD vehicle from Kalawana, and that ride itself was an unforgettable experience. The staff were excellent. Our driver was careful, skilled, and drove like a pro, calm and friendly throughout. Then there’s our friend Ravi; a truly great person who treated us exceptionally well. He was considerate, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to provide anything we needed. The food was fantastic, with plenty of fresh and delicious fruits. The Sri Lankan breakfast was especially tasty. They also arranged a Singharaja tour for us, including a waterfall visit, which was a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the price. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the whole experience.

We were met with tea and bananas - it's so important after a long way. This place in Udalawawe has fair price because when we were trying to book a room in other places for the prices we saw on the site, later it came obvious that the prices are actual only if you also book safari in this or that exact place. In Olivi palace you see the real price, if you don't need safari, it's okay. It was perfectly clean. The design of the room is sweat and nice. The place is very close to Elephant transit home.

This place in Belihuloya is a real hidden gem! Tucked away in a beautiful forested area, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and get close to nature. You’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of the forest—truly an escape from it all. The staff here were awesome—super friendly and welcoming. Big shoutout to Asanka, who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care, but that’s exactly what you’ll get here. The food was just amazing! The Sri Lankan dishes, in particular, were a highlight—so much flavor, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. From delicious curries to all the classic local sides, it was honestly some of the best Sri Lankan food I’ve had. If you’re looking to relax, enjoy great food, and be around wonderful people, this place in Belihuloya is definitely worth checking out!
