Third, staff in the reception are warm and friendly. Fourth, the cottage is spotlessly clean. Fifth, breakfast is rich and varied in choice, quality and quantity. Sixth, dinner is sumptuous and of good value for money.

Reinefjorden Sjøhus offers accommodation in Hamnøy. Free private parking is available on site. Some units include a terrace and/or patio with sea or mountain views. Such a great location! Apparently, there were a couple of nice viewpoints nearby so we could just walk there. And, of course, the possibility of seeing the northern lights from the comfort of your room is hard to beat. We have seen it twice during our 6-nights stand. Absolutely loved it! The ladies who work there are also very helpful and nice. The kitchen was very well equipped, we have managed to make a New Year’s Eve dinner for two with no problem. They also have sauna! And although I couldn’t use it, my husband took a full advantage of it :) Would come back in the summer!

Nusfjord Village & Resort offers traditional fishermen's cabins known as 'Rorbuer'. The property features free Wifi in all units, free parking, and free access to sauna. Great views of the fjords and mountains, breakfast was hearty and had good variety, and very friendly staff. Went in winter but will definitely try kayaking and other activities there during other seasons.

The house is in a great location with easy access to shops and has lovely views across the harbour. Our kids enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely and clean. The house is great quality and it had been cleaned well.

The areas around the house were not finished, so was some construction materials, etc. to be cleaned up along with planting grass.

House is very clean and well equipped. Stamsund is a quite and small town, there is a shop with gas station near by the house. It is a nice starting point for Lofoten trips with a bigger town Leknes about 15 minutes of driving. The owner showed us briefly every part of house and gave some guidance about the area. We had a really good time here.
