We absolutely loved our stay! Once we figured out the transportation to get to the lodge, everything was easy and well organized. It’s a fabulous place to be both active and relax: it’s right on the Queen Charlotte Track, we borrowed the kayaks, and we swam in the water. We also enjoyed sitting in the hammocks and relaxing in the hot tub. The food was delicious (though I found the prices a bit high for NZ) and enjoyed in their lovely dining room or patio. The service was great! We can’t wait to come back!

The bedrooms and common areas were very well equipped with absolutely everything you’d need and more. Mandy was a dream host, very communicative and helpful. We’ll be coming back !

There were lots of toys and activities to enjoy. The vegetation on property was beautiful. The view from my room was beautiful. Such a relaxing environment. The common kitchen has all the cooking tools you'd need and is super clean. There are great books to exchange. Minimal bugs.

Lochmara Lodge - 20mins by boat from Picton se nachází v destinaci Lochmara Bay a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, terasu a bar. We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Firkins Retreat, Picton se nachází v destinaci Picton a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu a klimatizaci. Pláž Picton Memorial Park Beach se nachází 1,6 km odtud a Pláž Shelley Beach 1,8 km. We couldn’t believe our luck walking up the stairs to see the house and view for the first time! Firkins Retreat is truly a retreat. Great amenities including a full kitchen and outdoor spa (which has a great view while you’re in it!) and we were amazed at how well considered and private it is. Brad was very responsive and friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!

The hosts were fantastic, had an enjoyable few days, and a great wine tasting trip 😀 Highly recommend a visit and wine tour!!!

Perfect Small Bay Peaceful Beach. Great Fishing Boating Oysters se nachází v destinaci Ohingaroa a nabízí terasu. Very quiet and peaceful location. Quite handy to Picton and bays along the way. Hot tub was prepared for us and quite a bonus. Welcomed and shown the facilities by a local for the owner.
