The B&B was beautifully situated in between an orchard and a lovely garden. The tips for what to visit in the area, recommended to us by the hostess, were really good and worth visiting! The fireplace, tennis court and hot tub just completed our stay entirely. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Marsden Cove Canal Haven with Spa Pool poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Whangarei Art Museum se nachází 38 km odtud a Claphams Clock Museum 39 km. Munchies provided made a wonderful, much-appreciated evening snack as well as morning breakfast. Opening up the suite for me (I arrived after dark) was also much appreciated.

Beautiful place to stay, you have everything you need, including a full kitchen, smart tv, comfortable bed. You can park in front of the door and it is walking distance from all the restaurants. We had a lot of rain while we were here and we were so happy we were staying in such a comfortable place.

We liked Bellrock Lodge and this little village so much, we even extended our stay! :) It is worth staying longer in Kororareka Russell and especially at Bellrock Lodge, so let us tell you why: Bellrock Lodge is situated on a little hill (if you walk, there are a few steep meters) and because of that, you will have the most amazing views from your terrace over the coast. On clear days you will even see as far as Waitangi. The apartment and the terrace are quite spacious, even the bathroom offers more than usual space in rental properties. It is very nice equipped. The garden is beautiful so you also see beautiful garden greenery from the terrace. The hosts Catherine and Stuart are very kind and responded fast via WhatsApp. Their sweet dog Piper was also a great host and excited to offer play time with her favorite football and such :D Catherine and Stuart were always very hospitable, so for instance, if you get in a morning rain like us, getting new towels is easy peasy, just a message/call away ;-) The Lodge offers great amendities: laundry, dryer, DVD Library (great selection, we loved it), CD and Book Library aswell... To top it off, the Whirlpool and BBQ area are great, with superb views also. We loved to enjoy the Spa, especially on rainy days. In addition to that, we highly appreciated how thoughtful everything is equipped, there are umbrellas in the driveway, wineglasses from plastic for the Spa, different chairs (even comfy reading/TV chairs), more than 2 different towel sizes and many more things like that.. We have travelled a lot and Bellrock Lodge is one of our favorites. You nearly forget, that you are at a self-service accomendation because everything is so thoughtfully done. It is worth staying longer, you can experience a lot in the area, walk to the beaches from Bellrock if you want to, get groceries and have great restaurants/cafés in town.
