APLEND Lake Resort asub Magas-Tatry-Strbske Plesos, 1,2 km kaugusel Štrbské Pleso järvest ja 39 km kaugusel Treetop Walkist. We had a huge apartment with terrace on the 3rd floor for 4 nights. Everything seems new. Parking was near the front door. The apartment is a very short walk to the train station and a number of good restaurants and the village’s store. We did breakfast in, ate picnic lunches on the trails, and enjoyed the restaurants for dinner. If you plan to self-cater (more than breakfast) shop in a bigger town. We had towel and trash service daily when we wanted it. Bed was large and very comfortable. Tons of closet space.

Hotel HORIZONT RESORT is in the village of Stará Lesná, only 2 km from Tatranská Lomnica the ski area. Beautiful hotel, great location, nearby all points of interest. The pool is great, heated (33-34 degrees), there's both a small indoor and a bigger outdoor playground which was really great for the kids. The room was massive with beautiful views of forests and mountains. Everything was spotless. The food choice is not massive but the quality is top notch and the menu changes daily which was really nice. Highly recommended for a nature-first holiday with kids. Having bathrobes waiting in the room exactly the size for our kids was a beautiful touch.

4-star APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. Amazing location. Food is excellent. Staff are very knowledgable and polite. It is really easy to get to beautiful places from here. The room is well equipped.

The modern Panorama Resort hotel is located directly at Štrbské Pleso. A wellness area with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas can be found on the ground floor just behind the reception. Fantastic area, professional staff, historical and architectural value of the building , amazing restaurant, great atmosphere

Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. Big, comfortable room. View to the mountains. Very good location - quite, next to the river and small market. Parking place is dedicated for each room, under the roof. Definitely the best place for such a price.

Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. Mostly everything. We knew this hotel from 40 years ago when my grandparents stayed there. It was a fancy hotel back then and although it aged, they managed to revamp it in a way that it is a very good value for money. The wellness section has so much variety we could spend the whole day there. Room is spacious and comfortable. Other facilities like kids club and bowling are great addition for families with kids. Location is fantastic, all the main hiking routes pass by the hotel, we didn't even take the car out most days.

Situated within 200 metres from the lake in Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras, this hotel offers a wellness area with an indoor swimming pool. The Railway Station is nearby. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk, in the restaurant and wellness. Great wellness facilities. Perfect location, especially for people who come without a car. Lovely restaurant and delicious food.
