Overall experience has been great! Villa is about 10mins walks away from Jiufen Old Street.

Established in 2007, Q Motel精品旅館 is situated in Tucheng, New Taipei City. Guest rooms in this motel have different designs in different themes. Overall: Photos of property were accurate, staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the room. Room: Bath was nice, shower had 6 heads (normal one, handheld (had a holder), and 4 on the side walls), which surprisingly all 4 had good pressure, which was a delight. Room was quite large, bed was large and quite soft. Massage chair present, though unused. Large desk was helpful to get a bit of work done. Fridge was a plus! I personally liked the bench/couch at the end of the bed, seating besides desk/bed is always appreciated. Tea, cups, and a kettle were available, with sugar as well. Did not notice any noise issues from adjoining stays! What we were "eh" about: Whole wall of mirrors, which I'm sure many people would love, though not our thing. Most all of the walls are also panes of glass, showing outside mini garden area. Did feel private enough, but I definitely always want windows closed during nighttime - thankfully the pull-down curtains started mostly closed, because that was a lot of windows to cover up! Breakfast was McDonalds, which we expected due to other reviews. While we didn't love that, we did appreciate that food was provided even though the layout of hotel means there won't be a shared eating area. I liked that staff gave us two breakfast time options (7/9am), had it promptly (a bit before our chosen 9am), and that when asking preferred time the night before, they informed us that it would come from McDonalds. We did not choose what to get (they provided 2 black teas, a sausage McMuffin, and a filet o fish), but I did not ask if you can make requests, so not sure if that's an option.

Featuring a spa and hot spring bath, Spring Spa Hotel is located in Wulai. It offers cosy rooms decorated in different styles. All rooms come with a hot tub and mountain views. Spring Spa is a delightful spot to stay in beautiful Wulai. Choose the rooms with your own personal spa, or one of the beautifully finished Japanese rooms - all rooms have spectacular views of the Nanxi river and rugged mountains all around. They have a men's and women's public spa which is free for guests to use, with three hot pools, a sauna, steam room and baths - clean and well used by the locals. Breakfast is included, and the soup dumplings (pic included) are an excellent way to start the day Make sure to try the local food at the Wu Lai Xiang restaurant (pic of dinner included) just up the street. My two days there were restful and included fun walks through the local Wulai old town and the cute Wulai trolley to the stunning view of the falls. Reasonably priced and staff were so attentive and friendly. I'll stay there again for sure!

Nestled away amidst peaceful nature surroundings, Great Roots Forestry Spa Resort features a hot spring bath and elegantly furnished guestrooms with complimentary bottled water. We splashed out and rode here on our last night of a Taiwan bicycle tour before finishing in Taipei; what a regal finish to a fantastic trip! The room was wonderful, hot springs are fabulous, and buffet breakfast was exceptional. If you’re on the fence of splurging a bit, this place is legit.

Mi Jing Garden Spring Resort nabízí pokoje v destinaci Wu-laj. Jen 22 km odtud se nachází Xingnan Night Market a Gongguan Night Market je 23 km daleko. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The room was massive with a hot spring right in our patio over looking the WuLai mountains.... You just can't beat a view like that. The beds, shower were very comfortable and clean. They made us a delicious Chinese breakfast every morning. While without a car it was a treck to get to and from the town, it was a nice work out for us. They also had stairs only, and they brought up our luggage to us, while we brought it down for checkout. This place was just perfect and I wouldn't only not recommend to anybody who can't hike up and down the mountain or lug luggage up the stairs.
